Day 5: Absheron Peninsula & Modern Baku
- After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Gabala and begin your return journey to Baku. Upon arrival, set out to explore the fascinating Absheron Peninsula, an area rich in natural wonders and ancient heritage.
- Your first stop is the Ateshgah Fire Temple, a remarkable 17th-century complex built by Indian fire-worshippers. This UNESCO-listed site offers a glimpse into Azerbaijan’s Zoroastrian past, where natural gas flames have burned continuously for centuries. Continue to Yanar Dag, also known as the Burning Mountain, a rare natural phenomenon where flames mysteriously blaze from the hillside due to underground gas seepage a true symbol of Azerbaijan, the “Land of Fire.”
- In the afternoon, return to Baku and enjoy a photo stop at the Heydar Aliyev Center, one of the city’s most iconic architectural masterpieces designed by Zaha Hadid. Its futuristic curves and elegant design beautifully reflect the modern spirit of Azerbaijan.
- As evening falls, you may spend some free time strolling along the Baku Boulevard or relaxing at a local café before heading back to your hotel.

Day 6: Departure – Goodbye, Azerbaijan!
- After breakfast, enjoy some free time at leisure depending on your flight schedule perhaps a short walk near your hotel or some last-minute souvenir shopping to take a piece of Azerbaijan home with you.
- Later, proceed with check-out from your hotel and meet your driver for your private transfer to Heydar Aliyev International Airport. As you head to the airport, take a moment to reflect on the unforgettable memories made from the ancient streets of Baku’s Old City to the serene mountain beauty of Gabala.
