Finland Winter: Helsinki, Lapland & Northern Lights

11 February, 08:00: Santa Claus Village with Reindeer & Husky Ride for two adults, Meet Santa, Husky & Reindeer option, approximately 5 hours with English guide. Includes Santa visit, Arctic Circle crossing certificate, reindeer ride and weather-dependent husky ride (800 metres to 2 km on snow; wheeled-cart alternatives in insufficient snow), plus accommodation pickup within 10 km of Rovaniemi city centre. Pickup time must be reconfirmed with the operator. Snowman World is not included.

12 February, 20:00: Book Lapland Northern Lights tour for two adults, approximately 4-6 hours and potentially longer. Includes English guidance, heated tour transport, thermal overalls and insulated boots, DSLR photos, hot drinks and cookies. Meet at Book Lapland office, Koskikatu 22, Rovaniemi; transport between the hotel and this meeting point is not included. Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed. The operator advertises a tour-price refund if its photographer cannot capture the aurora, subject to its published conditions; this is not a guarantee of naked-eye visibility or a refund of the whole holiday.

EXCLUDED: all flights; Helsinki-Rovaniemi intercity transportation; airport/station transfers; car hire; transfers to the aurora meeting point; lunches and dinners, drinks except those specified, optional attractions, insurance, personal expenses and any locally payable charges not included by the suppliers. Arrange a separate rail or flight connection from Helsinki to Rovaniemi on 10 February. No self-drive vehicle is included despite any automatic route label. Helsinki sightseeing and remaining free time are independent.
